Joel Matlin PRESIDENT/CEO
Joel Matlin PRESIDENT/CEO – Joel Matlin is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of Think Protection. Joel is one of the most respected figures in home security.
Before starting Think Protection, Joel was the Founder and former President and CEO of AlarmForce Industries Inc. During his tenure with AlarmForce, Joel grew the company into an iconic brand with revenues of over $50 million in annual sales. Joel is widely regarded as one of the most trusted and respected entrepreneurs in Canada, and is inseparably linked with the AlarmForce name since he was the face and voice of AlarmForce through extensive radio and TV marketing. Joel has been featured regularly in the media and is sought after as a speaker and mentor for aspiring young entrepreneurs.
Before starting AlarmForce, Joel was Founder and President of Frisco Bay Industries, one of Canada’s largest systems integrators and bank surveillance and automation experts, which was sold to Stanley Black and Decker for $45 million USD. During his 1-year non-competition period after AlarmForce, Joel was the Chairman of Matlin Creative, a full service marketing and business-consulting agency, where he helped other companies successfully grow their businesses. In one year of operations Matlin Creative was the agency of record for numerous high profile businesses and one of the fastest growing marketing agencies in Canada.

Adam Matlin CMO/COO
Adam Matlin CMO/COO – Adam Matlin is Co-Founder and CMO/COO of Think Protection.
Before starting Think Protection, Adam was CEO and President of Matlin Creative, a full service marketing and business–consulting agency, where he helped other companies successfully grow their businesses. In one year of operations Matlin Creative was the agency of record for numerous high profile businesses and one of the fastest growing marketing agency in Canada.
Before founding Matlin Creative, Adam was VP of Sales and Marketing at AlarmForce where, during his tenure, the company’s account base grew from 50,000 accounts to over 130,000 with over $50 million in annual sales. Adam oversaw all marketing efforts through an in-house marketing team, managing an annual budget of over $17 million. Beyond that Adam lead the Sales Department, Customer Service Department, Installation Department and created the Customer Loyalty Department.
Adam graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts – School of Filmmaking, majoring in Producing.
