Suspect wanted in Toronto stabbing

Toronto Police are looking for a man wanted with an unprovoked streetcar stabbing.

The attack happened Sunday, July 14th at night on a streetcar between Queen St and John St. A man stabbed a victim multiple times and then fled the streetcar.

The suspect is between 20 and 30-years-old, police said. He was wearing a grey hoodie with a black trim at the elbows and wrists, black shorts, black shoes and a light grey backpack. He also had a bike and a yellow water bottle.

Pictures of the man can be seen in a Toronto Star article. Police are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the man. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

It is important to remember to be vigilant at all times. An attack like this is hard to foresee, however be aware of your surroundings and safeguard yourself whenever possible.
